Core Aeration has two main purposes:

1. The process pulls core “plugs” out of the soil reducing the compaction level. This will allow many of the seeds broadcast after the aeration process to fall down in those fresh holes allowing for faster germination.

2. The second benefit is the aeration process allows oxygen to the existing grasses root system which promotes deeper growth and viability.

With our summers becoming longer and dryer each year, core aeration in our opinion is a must each fall. When combined with a seeding solution, the lawn is back in shape in 4-6 weeks looking good as new.
